Superior celebrates the
25th Annual Apache Leap Mining Festival
March 8-10, 2013

Miners compete for $2,000 in cash prizes. Learn the history of mining and how copper is mined. Free entertainment all weekend, including Wild Man Phil and his reptiles, Wyatt Earp, The Arizona Ghostriders, pet pageant, talent show, the Sun City Poms, Baile Folklorico Alma de Superior and more. Chihuahuas race for big money.  Can "Peanut" win 4 years in a row?  Stick around for the Saturday night street dance featuring Angie Gomez and Power Drive.  Parade, carnival and lots of events for kids.  Good food, terrific vendors and great family fun!
